The Marina Café & Bar

Looking to escape the crowds? Then head to Camber Wharf in the Docks precinct and you’ll stumble upon our waterfront gem: the Marina Café & Bar!

Our relaxed and family friendly venue includes a café, food truck kitchen, and the hippest container bar in Sydney! Featuring beers on tap by Malt Shovel and Byron Bay Brewery as well as wines by Accolade wines that you can’t buy in the shops. Our full-time chef serves up favourites such as home-made pizzas, fish and chips, popcorn chicken and overloaded nachos! Serving coffee by Toby’s Estate, our baristas are short to put a skip in your step!

There is seating for 150 and a marquee to provide all-weather protection as well as a grassy lawn area creating the best beer garden atmosphere on the Harbour. The Marina Café & Bar is the perfect lunch or snack spot and can also provide catering for your special island event.

DMA Architects

DMA Architects has found that moving their office to Cockatoo Island in 2011 has provided many positive changes to their work.

The difference from a previous off-the-suburban-street situation onto a carless, exceptionally beautiful island in Sydney Harbour has provided an ideal working environment, one which minimises distractions and interruptions and maximises focus and inspiration.

The firm of DMA Architects was formed in January 1999. Daniel Ma, the principal of DMA Architects, has been in practise for over 40 years and has worked extensively overseas in Asia and London.

DMA Architects’ projects include educational buildings, Aboriginal Housing, an extensive range of residential work and minor commercial work. The educational work comprises public and secondary schools, TAFE colleges and the College of Fine Arts (the last done by Smith Pratt and Ma). The residential work includes a number of public and Aboriginal housing projects as well as many private dwellings. The commercial work includes restaurants, cafes, shops, hotels and industrial buildings.
