The Convict Precinct
Description Forming part of the 1840s convict gaol complex (nominated for the World Heritage List) on the Upper Island, this venue comprises a sandstone mess hall, large enclosed courtyard and separate lawn. Naval Store

Mould Loft Shop Floor
Description The Shop Floor is an expansive open-plan space with water views. It is located within the recently refurbished Mould Loft in peaceful surrounds on the Upper Island. With a warehouse feel, the Shop Floor features rough-hewn floorboards, exposed trusses and large studio windows. A wide verandah opens to an adjacent lawn with river views. Mould Loft Studio
Description Located at the front of the recently refurbished Mould Loft, the Studio is an intimate open-plan creative space. Light and airy, the venue features exposed truss ceilings, rough-hewn floorboards and triple aspect studio windows. A wide verandah and adjacent lawn with river views provide event organisers with break-out, catering and team building alternatives. The Education Room, Administration Building (Building 30)
Description Situated between the wharf and the cafe at the entrance to the Island, the Education Room in the Administration Building on Cockatoo Island offers an industrial island escape for meetings. Start the day on a 10 minute ferry ride to the Island; explore the outdoor spaces or plan a team building experience around the Islands unique history.

This is a basic facility in a heritage building, if you require a different set up from theatre style, time should be allowed for to set up in the organiser agenda for the day. Equipment in this room is strictly for the use inside this room it can not be used outside or in other venues. This room does not have air-conditioning, there is heating.

Convict Workshops (Buildings 138 and 143)
Description The Convict Workshops were built in 1840 when the island was a convict gaol. The three rooms have convict slab sandstone walls, raw concrete floors, large arched windows and high ceilings. The Dogleg Tunnel
Description The dogleg tunnel was originally built to move workers and materials from one side of the island to the other. Today its sandstone surfaces are brought to life by a soundscape set in World War II. The tunnel can be used as a thoroughfare or an adventurous prelude to your event on the other side of the island. The Plaza
Description The Plaza is a vast public waterfront domain with magnificient harbour views and a dramatic cliff-face backdrop. Partially paved and partially grassed, the Plaza comprises large level surfaces punctuated with raised landscaped platforms.
