The Fire Station Studio has a Queen bed for 2 guests. A 3rd guest can be slept in a single rollaway bed for $50 per night. This bed can be added to your booking at the 'Optional extras' screen of our online booking platform.

Other paid extras include additional cleaning services, high chair and cot hire, and Cockatoo Overboard BBQ packs. BBQ packs must be pre-ordered at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
Our apartments, including the Fire Station Studio, are only for the residential use of booked occupants. Functions, events, ceremonies and parties are not permitted.
Our Heritage Holiday Houses are available for bespoke functions for up to 50 people. Fees apply. For more information, view our Hire Agreement for Event Bookings.
We regret that due to its heritage nature, the Fire Station Studio is not wheelchair accessible and may be unsuitable for anyone with difficulties climbing steps. To discuss a more accessible option, please email stay@cockatooisland.gov.au.

BBQ packs are available for campers to pre-purchase from Cockatoo Overboard and prepare using the campground kitchen. The cafe requires at least 48 hours’ notice to prepare BBQ pack orders, so order well in advance. To order a BBQ pack, please click here.

Disclaimer: Ferries will be in high demand during Vivid Sydney, so plan ahead to avoid delays. Catch an earlier ferry, take the F8 ferry for a less crowded journey and use Transport for NSW’s Trip Planner for real-time updates. Arrive at the ferry wharf at least 30 minutes before departure to secure your spot, especially during peak times.
